Abstract
In May 2018, the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property of WIPO approved a project on “increasing the role of women in innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging women in developing countries to use the intellectual property system”. Mexico is one of the pilot countries selected for this project. This document presents the results of the assessment of the situation of female inventors and innovators in Mexico.
