Abstract
Procedures and computer programs are developed for determining the response of soil-foundation-structure interaction systems during earthquakes and to investigate the nature of soil and interaction effects. Assuming the linear elastic stress-strain behavior of the soil, the author develops a two-dimensional analytical model of soil-foundation-structure interaction.
