Entrepreneurial leadership and innovation are needed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to survive and grow. Entrepreneurial leaders must unlock and use their employees’ creativity to innovate. Moreover, they should foster creativity, risk-taking, and teamwork to secure business growth and success. Therefore, this study analyzes the link between entrepreneurial leadership, creativity, and innovation among SMEs. The aim is to identify the traits that lead to entrepreneurial leadership which helps in fostering creativity and innovation among SMEs in Saudi Arabia.The study is based on primary data from employees, managers, and owners of SMEs in the capital region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Organizations with proper Human Resource (HR) practices play an exemplary role in developing their employees’ innovation. Entrepreneurial leadership and employee creativity: Moderation and mediation perspectives

This research aims to analyze and explain the influence of entrepreneurial leadership, information technology and employee creativity and to examine the role of knowledge sharing as the moderator and information technology as the mediator. The population in this research was all the small and medium enterprises engaged in handicrafts in Bali, amounting to 42 businesses. The determination of the sample was done by using a proportional sampling method involving leaders, supervisors and employees and the total sample in this research was 126 people. The result of this study indicates that entrepreneurial leadership has no significant, positive effect on employee creativity. The significance of creativity and performance in the workplace has been illustrated on various occasions. This study aims to find out if there is a link between transformative leadership, organizational innovation, psychological issues such as hindrance and challenge stressors, and employee creativity and employee performance. There is still a lack of awareness of the factors that influence employee performance in small and medium businesses (SMEs) in Pakistan. Pakistan’s SMEs have struggled to survive in their early years, with an initial failure rate of 90 percent to 95 percent.

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES LEADING TO INNOVATION IN SME SECTOR IN UAE

Leadership being a complicated process involves a number of enablers and barriers. Lack of leadership has been identified to be one of the key barriers in implementing innovation since leaders play a significant role in providing a favourable environment to the employees as well as motivating them to increase the chances of innovation success. Limited research on innovation in SMEs in UAE led conducting a survey with leaders of SMEs in UAE.Six categories of leadership qualities were identified from previous research namely strategic thinking, planning and delivery, people management, change management, communication and persuasion and influence. It was found that the leadership qualities are important in implementing innovation when applied collectively since these were not found to impact innovation practices individually. The impact of leadership qualities on innovation practices is thus confirmed by the present research as well as previous research. SMEs in UAE are thus recommended to enhance the leadership qualities of their leaders through appropriate ways.

Entrepreneurial Leadership and Creativity in Projects: A Moderated-Mediated Mechanism

For managers/leaders without creativity and innovation, it's difficult to compete effectively on the market. Employee top success is not often enough to achieve a strategic edge in which creative attitudes and innovation can be counted as materials to create. An entrepreneurial leadership style is recognised as a crucial source of enhancing creativity in project-based organisations. However current research will provide empirical evidence in which leadership leads to creativity in projects through Innovative Work Behaviour (IWB) and Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (ESE) as a moderator. For this purpose, the leaders/managers in the project-based organisations are in the twin cities of Peshawar and Nowshera, KP; Pakistan was taken as a population of the study. All the four variables were measured through adopted instruments from the previous studies. Due to time, cost and other constraints, the study has employed the convenience sampling technique to gathered data. The collected data was run through various statistical techniques such as data cleaning, internal consistency, CFA and relationship via Structural Educational Modelling using CB AMOS 23. The results of the study found that Entrepreneurial leadership has significant and positive association with creativity in projects. The study also examined that innovative work behaviour partially mediates the association between Entrepreneurial leadership and has significant and positive association with creativity in projects. Further, the study also found that entrepreneurial self-efficacy moderates the association between entrepreneurial leadership and has significant and positive association with creativity in projects.
