A Dynamics Behaviour of Two Predators and One Prey Interaction with Competition Between Predators
IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
This research focuses on the dynamical of a Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with competition on predator populations. The model represents an interaction between one prey and two predator populations. The analysis shows that there are four equilibrium points, namely the extinction of predator populations point, the extinction of the first predator population point, the extinction of the second predator and the interior point. The existence of the interior equilibrium point is investigated by using Cardan criteria. Local stability analysis shows that both predator populations have never been extinct together. The second and third equilibrium point is local asymptotically stable under some conditions. Numerical simulations are carried out to investigate the stability of the interior point as well as to show that more than one equilibrium point may be asymptotically stable together for a set of parameter.
Dynamical Analysis of a Predator-Prey Model Incorporating Predator Cannibalism and Refuge
Axioms, 2022
We consider a mathematical model to describe the interaction between predator and prey that includes predator cannibalism and refuge. We aim to study the dynamics and its long-term behavior of the proposed model, as well as to discuss the effects of crucial parameters associated with the model. We first show the boundedness and positivity of the solution of the model. Then, we study the existence and stability of all possible equilibrium points. The local stability of the model around each equilibrium point is studied via the linearized system, while the global stability is performed by defining a Lyapunov function. The model has four equilibrium points. It is found that the equilibrium point representing the extinction of both prey and predator populations is always unstable, while the other equilibrium points are conditionally stable. In addition, there is forward bifurcation phenomena that occur under certain condition. To support our analytical findings, we perform some numerica...
Numerical Study of One Prey-Two Predator Model Considering Food Addition and Anti-Predator Defense
E3S Web of Conferences, 2021
This article examines the interaction between prey populations, juvenile predators, and adult predators. A mathematical model that considers adding food and anti-predators was developed. The equilibria of the existing system are that the system has four equilibria points with conditions suitable for the locale. Numerical simulations were carried out to describe the dynamics of the system solution. Based on numerical simulations, the varying of parameter causes changes in the extinction of prey or survival of prey populations, juvenile predators, and adult predators. Addfood parameters (A) encourae Hopf Bifurcation and Saddle-node bifurcation Numerical continuity results show that Hopf bifurcation occurs when the parameter value A = 1.00162435 and when the parameter value A = 2.435303 Saddle-node bifurcation occurs.
Persistence and extinction of one-prey and two-predator system
Nonlinear Analysis, 2004
In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed and analysed to study the dynamics of one-prey two-predators system with ratio-dependent predators growth rate. Criteria for local stability, instability and global stability of the nonnegative equilibria are obtained. The permanent coexistence of the three species is also discussed. Finally, computer simulations are performed to investigate the dynamics of the system.

In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed and analysed to study the dynamics of one-prey two-predators system with ratio-dependent pre- dators growth rate. Criteria for local stability, instabil ity and global stability of the nonnegative equilibria are obtained. The permanent co-existence of the three species is also discussed. Finally, computer simulat ions are performed to investigate the dynamics of the system.
Discrete Model of Two Predators competing for One Prey
This paper investigates the dynamical behavior of a discrete model of one prey two predator systems. The equilibrium points and their stability are analyzed. Time series plots are obtained for different sets of parameter values. Also bifurcation diagrams are plotted to show dynamical behavior of the system in selected range of growth parameter.
A mathematical model was proposed and analysed to study the dynamics of a system of a prey, primary predator and a super predator in which the predators show Holing Type II functional response to their respective prey. The study substantially provides mechanism for improving the survivability of honeybee population and to halt the negative impact of Varroa-mite infestation on honeybee population by introducing Pseudoscorpion to serve as a super predator of Varroa-mite. Also, the study significantly shows the impact of virus on honeybee infested with virus-carrying Varroa-mite. The global stability analysis and Hopf-bifurcation of the interior steady state existence of the system are studied and explored. The analytical results matched with the numerical results of the model developed.
Stability analysis of a food chain model consisting of two competitive preys and one predator
The present article deals with the intraspecific competition among predator populations of a prey-dependent three-component food chain model system consisting of two competitive preys and one predator. The behaviour of the system near the biologically feasible equilibria is thoroughly analysed. Boundedness and dissipativeness of the system are established. The stability analysis including local and global stability of the equilibria has been carried out in order to examine the behaviour of the system. The present system experiences Hopf-Andronov bifurcation for suitable choice of parameters. The results of this investigation reveal that the intra-specific competition among predator populations can be beneficial for the survival of predator. The ecological implications of both the analytical and the numerical findings are discussed at length towards the end.
