The aim of the present work is the investigation of airflow over the Ahmed body, using k − ω SST turbulence model. In the first part of the work, simulations were performed for slant angles equal to 25 • and 35 • for Re √ A = 30000. The last section of the report are presented and discussed the results generated by Ahmed car with 35 • slant angle and the addition of a rear wing, in order to decrease the overall lift coefficient. In particular, two different wing models are analysed, NACA9412 and NACA2412, for different incident angles.
