The Pacific war began to break out, Japan started its propaganda and invasion to control all of Asia, the Dutch East Indies did not escape the Japanese target, including the North Sulawesi region which is considered the ninth province of the Netherlands, an area that has a great influence in the supply of natural resources, military and also Dutch propaganda, but all of them were broken by the Japanese with the entry of Japan into North Sulawesi. This paper will discuss how the struggle for Hegemony between the Netherlands and Japan at the end of the Dutch East Indies was shown by the overlapping changes to the Dutch East Indies stamps, especially the stamps with the image of Queen Wilhelmina in North Sulawesi.
