The paper investigates the usage aspects of ChatGPT (version 3.5) in STEM and computing-related education processes-more precisely, we concentrate on an elective course offered to our students-Introduction to Web Programming. In this course, our students learn the basics of client/front-side web programming (using HTML5, CSS3, and plain JavaScript), as well as some elementary server-side development using PHP. With years of experience, we have collected enough student exam results to conclude that some 10% of our students are able to solve standard programming tests with high grades and provide more-less complete web pages and simple web applications. The tests are held in a controlled environment where students have to write their programs on plain paper (as much outdated and strange it may seem), with no access to a computer or the Internet. During the last academic year, ChatGPT became quite popular and there were many headlines generating widespread attention from the media and experts across various fields. Being driven by that "madness", we started "talking" with ChatGPT about the topics of the course, as well as trying to solve some practical tasks. Even though the course covers the basics of well-known standards, it came as a surprise for the authors that ChatGPT generated quite useful answers and, even more surprisingly, great and complete solutions for many of our standard programming tests! Not only that it created valid and correct web pages and web applications, but it was able to adapt to our comments and provide the solutions we expected from our students. The paper describes some topics we "checked" with ChatGPT and the last lecture where we suggested the usage of ChatGPT to our students, as a useful learning supplement. The negative aspects of using ChatGPT (from teachers' point of view) were also commented on, where it was advised to keep a controlled exam environment offline, with no student access to ChatGPT. In the results section, we comment on different test requests (similar to our lecture conversations and standard exam tasks) and provide a detailed overview of ChatGPT results, including notes on initial solutions and results obtained after some adaptation. The results cover two use cases-using ChatGPT as a teaching assistant and as a code generator and program task solver. The ChatGPT results for test tasks were graded using the same assessment method as with our students (the source code analysed and checked manually)-in 20-30 seconds it solved each task, passed the exam with the highest grade, outperforming most of our students!

in today's fast pace life it's very crucial to take care of one's health, this can be made easy by maintaining a Personal Health Record (PHR). PHR is collection of all the health related data of a person. One can maintain his PHR from his childhood and can use it anytime. Emergency Medical Systems (EMS) are services which can be provided in various emergency situations. These services may include calling an Ambulance service till patient gets discharge from the hospital. The culmination of EMS and PHR can tremendously help in making health management efficient. We are going to develop a system that maintains PHR and provide EMS using cloud environment. It provides asynchronous notification using Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) which is a lightweight mechanism that uses push messaging technology for notification.

Циљ ових истраживања је експериментално одређивање материјала који се могу користити за смањење јачине електричног поља у случају када је премашен референтни гранични ниво. На основу резултата мерења, за све испитиване екране израчунат је заштитни фактор, као однос јачине електричног поља пре и након постављања екрана. Анализом вредности заштитних фактора издвојени су најефикаснији екрани. Кључне речи: јачина електричног поља, нејонизујуће зрачење, смањење јачине електричног поља, заштитни фактор.

La diversidad de dispositivos conectados a Internet ha conllevado en la actualidad a un cambio en la concepcion del diseno Web. Este artículo proporciona un análisis de las plataformas software (SW) a disposición del público para el desarrollo e implementación de interfaces cerebro-ordenador (Brain Computer Interfaces, en adelante BCI). Se identifican siete grandes plataformas para BCI y se describen a su vez sus características más relevantes, así como la disponibilidad en diferentes sistemas operativos, licencias, lenguajes de programación y compiladores. Estas siete plataformas son: (1) BCI2000, (2) OpenViBE, (3) BCILAB, (4) BCI++, (5) TOBI, (6) xBCI, (7) BF++. Adicionalmente, se describen otras dos plataformas, (8) Pyff y (9) AsTeRICS, que se emplean para la generación y presentación de estímulos durante la realización de experimentos con sistemas BCI.

Web development merupakan skill yang bisa dilatih sejak dini dan berguna sekali pada saat bekerja dibidang IT nanti. Dari web development sendiri adalah dimana proses pengembangan sebuah tampilan, struktur, kegunaan, dan manfaat dari web yang telah ditulis itu sendiri, penggunaannya web ini sangat bermacam-macam dari individu, bersama, ataupun resmi. Dari web development terbagi menjadi tiga penyusun atau penulis serta prosesnya, yaitu front-end developer atau developer barisan depan yang menyusun suatu proyek dan membentuk kerangka utama daripada web itu sendiri, middleware developer atau developer barisan tengah yang melengkapi daripada susunan rangka dan penyusunan masalah daripada web tersebut, dan yang terakhir yaitu backend developer atau developer barisan belakang yang melengkapi dari bagian tampilan maupun tambahan yang diperlukan daripada proyek tersebut.
Workshop desain web ini memfokuskan untuk memberi tambahan pada bagian desain web dengan bahasa pokok dari web development yaitu HTML, CSS, dan Java script. Tetapi, pada laporan ini hanya membahas bahasa CSS lanjutan tentang properti batasan, gradasi warna, bayangan teks, rotasi, tooltip, tombol berwarna, tombol ambang, kolom, dan batas ukuran persegi yang dimana memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda dan memiliki kontras source code yang bermacam-macam. Dari CSS bertujuan untuk memudahkan seorang programmer dalam menyusun rangkaian HTML secara garis besar dan menambahkan beberapa fitur baru seperti yang disebutkan diatas dan juga CSS memiliki suatu karakter khusus diantaranya dengan pemberian kesinambungan dengan tiga cara, yaitu dengan cara eksternal, internal, dan inline. Dengan eksternal adalah menambahkan suatu tag , internal adalah menggunakan tag , inline adalah dengan menambahkan gaya model CSS langsung kepada tag komando seperti <h1 style=”Tulisan ini menggunakan gaya model CSS berupa inline. Permisalan yang ditulis dalam laporan ini merupakan contoh untuk penggunaan CSS lanjutan untuk mendesain web secara formal yang terbiasa atau bahkan dengan kreasi yang ada untuk unsur-unsur yang akan dibahas diatas.

— In existing push systems, there is no provision for additional security and the push messages from any content provider can be simply viewed by the user. This could cause problems in certain cases where additional security, privacy and authentication might be desirable before the user is allowed to view the push message, for example a message from the user's bank giving the current bank balance. In this paper we present a Smart Push system that ensures user security and privacy. Our push architecture incorporates a Gateway Client and Gateway Server component, enabling additional security measures and encryption of sent push messages at the gateway server before the messages reach the client device. In our system, a unique subscription Id is generated during the registration process, which hides the actual registration Id of the client device and thus ensures privacy. An additional spam filter at the gateway server further protects the client device from spam push messages. We present the architecture of the system and results of some tests performed to measure the effectiveness of the security aspects of the push architecture.

PRIMICIA es un producto informático que se ha venido desarrollando desde hace varios años en el seno de la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI). De forma general este sistema constituye una solución integral capaz de
proveer un canal de televisión para la transmisión automática y constante de
informaciones en distintos formatos a través de un canal de televisión.
El sistema fue desarrollado totalmente con herramientas y tecnologías libres,
colaborando de esta forma a la soberanía tecnológica por la que aboga el país,
no obstante el mismo puede ser instalado en la plataforma que desee el cliente
ya que es un producto multiplataforma. PRIMICIA se encuentra estructurada en
dos subsistemas, el subsistema de Administración y el subsistema de
Transmisión los cuales se relacionan entre sí y actúan como un todo para
brindar un resultado final acorde a las necesidades de los usuarios.
Durante toda la concepción del producto se tuvo presente la optimización de
los recursos de hardware ya que las soluciones existentes a nivel internacional requieren de un equipamiento sumamente costoso, el cual, la inmensa mayoría de las entidades cubanas que necesitan este tipo de aplicación, no pueden adquirir. Esta es la causa fundamental que condujo a que PRIMICIA sea adaptable a cualquier entorno de negocio que requiera la presentación de
informaciones usando el televisor como medio de comunicación.
El sistema en sí mejora la forma tradicional de confeccionar y transmitir las
informaciones debido a que hace uso de uno de los medios de difusión más
masivos del planeta (la televisión) unido a la automatización de todos los
procesos que intervienen en la creación de las noticias. Para PRIMICIA una
noticia puede ser cualquier información que se quiera difundir ya sea un
mensaje textual, un reporte del clima, un reporte tabular, un documental en un
formato de video, una galería de imágenes o combinaciones de estos
elementos. Para hacer más amena las informaciones el sistema permite la
reproducción los fondos musicales que acompañan las noticias que se transmiten, estas a su vez pueden estar acompañadas de cintillos informativos para mostrar breves informaciones de manera simultánea. En fin el producto puede ser ajustado sin mayores esfuerzos a cualquier entidad que necesite la difusión de noticias a través de la televisión y utilizando un mínimo de recursos. A continuación se muestran un grupo de entidades que han sido clientes del sistema o que se han identificado como clientes potenciales: Televisoras, Agencias de noticias, Sedes ministeriales o empresariales, Terminales de transporte, Hoteles, Universidades, Centros de convenciones, entre otros.

Los desarrolladores de soluciones web del Centro de Gobierno Electrónico, para alcanzar mejores resultados utilizan marcos de trabajo y en conjunto a estos se apoyan en las herramientas de mapeo relacional de objetos, para facilitar el acceso a datos, como es el caso de Doctrine. La inexistencia de una herramienta que facilite el trabajo de los arquitectos de datos de este centro en la solución de sus tareas en términos de tiempo, promovió la construcción de la aplicación ORM MAPPING. El principal resultado que se alcanza con la realización de la investigación, es una herramienta informática que contribuye a disminuir el tiempo invertido de los arquitectos de datos del centro, en el proceso de mapeo de grandes volúmenes de clases del marco de trabajo Doctrine, comprobado mediante la validación del sistema a través de la prueba piloto aplicada a los especialistas en el tema. Estos resultados fueron obtenidos con el uso de un grupo de herramientas y tecnologías libres como el Entorno de Desarrollo Integrado Netbeans ,el lenguaje de programación Java y la librería AWT con el componente Swing, además de la guía ofrecida por la metodología de desarrollo ágil Extreme Programming.

Push Notifications are widely used in a variety of platforms like GSM, CDMA for various applications servers to communicate with their clients to give real time updates without any pull strategy. They are also used by different service providers to advertise their services to users. However the notifications from different providers are not integrated at the platform level. In this paper we present a unified push service from multiple platforms on a mobile device. Our service provides a generalized interface to accommodate any kind of new push platform. As the service is a unified background service, additional features can be developed to benefit the users and content providers, as well as provide relevant data to applications. Applications have the option to either process the new push messages directly or to send the messages to the notification center without processing, thus enabling power and performance optimization for mobile devices. The service can be used by all the apps and individual mobile applications need not poll separately for information, thus saving power and memory at the device. The service also supports multiple push platforms at the same time. We provide a few unique use cases where this kind of unified service for push notifications can be useful. Finally, we present the results of a few experiments to study the performance metrics of our push architecture, including the latency of receiving push notifications from different sources on the device, as well as the memory consumed by applications using the unified push platform.

La televisión constituye un excelente medio de comunicación, pues brinda la posibilidad de difundir las más variadas informaciones en cuestión de minutos, sin importar lo dispersos o alejados que se encuentren los televidentes. Los progresos en la electrónica, la informática y las redes de telecomunicaciones influyeron de forma significativa en el surgimiento y evolución de plataformas de televisión informativa en todo el mundo.
PRIMICIA es una plataforma televisiva creada en Cuba, específicamente en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, que mezcla textos, imágenes, audios y videos
para confeccionar las informaciones que se transmiten. La plataforma es un sistema compuesto por dos subsistemas, uno dedicado a la administración y redacción de
noticias y el otro a la transmisión de los materiales gestionados en el sistema. El presente trabajo expone las principales funcionalidades y tecnologías de desarrollo
