This sea salt is really good! I was using Redmond's Real Salt, which has really good flavor, but was kind of gritty due to the fact that it's unprocessed. This salt is not gritty at all. The flavor of this salt reminds me of the salt they put on a soft pretzel, only it's flakier, and has a very satisfying mild crunch to it. If the salt flakes are too big for your taste, they easily crumble between your fingers, or in a mortar and pestle. I use this salt for everything! Goes great in scrambled eggs (completely dissolves), or on baked sweet potato chunks. This is the salt you've been looking for. Get it, you won't be disappointed!

This was recommended salt that has no metals like lead. Looking for quality unbleached salt that still has minerals. The texture is light and crispy flakes. Was able to put it in my salt grinder and it comes out beautifully.

Really love the taste. Can barely enjoy food with any other salt options. Celtic may have a few more minerals, but Maldon is much better tasting and still has great amount of minerals. Love the large crystals to crumble over food. Or just pinch before drinking water to hydrate. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Don't understand how anyone uses "table salt" on food. So glad to have friends who had Maldon and invited us for dinner. Can't imagine life without it.

These sea salt flakes are delicious and I find myself eating pieces by themselves while waiting to season other items. They are also in appealing pyramid shapes, which are oddly fun to pick through. My only complaint is that the packaging of the small size is not great and not resealable.

I am a salt fanatic and if you are not you probably won't have the slighted interest in why I think Maldon is one of the best salts available. I love the crystalline crunchiness and the way there are always a few flakes that refuse to melt and hang on to the food as a little surprise. It has a remarkably clean taste; hard to explain but so many salts have an almost ammonia- or bleach-like flavor. I am convinced it makes food taste better than other salts do and if that's my delusion please just leave me to it. It's also pretty. Yup, pleasing to the eye. It twinkles. And it bears the official coat of arms of the royal family of Britain, which tickles me immensely. I ask a lot of my salt and Maldon delivers.

I like to watch cooking shows on YouTube, and haven’t had much luck with products they recommend. Then this salt was recommended by someone whose opinions I’m starting to trust. I was still resistant because I’ve tried a bunch of fancy salts and was never impressed enough to justify the cost. Then I started noticing this distinctive box on kitchen counters on other channels and decided to bite the bullet. I bought a box, and I’m glad I did. I’m hooked. The difference is that this salt adds saltiness like regular salt, but it also adds crunchiness! At first, I thought, if I added a pinch of this stuff I would be over salting my food because the flakes are so much bigger than regular salt grains, but it doesn’t! I’m not a molecular gastronomer, so I can’t explain why, but I love the crunch, so I don’t care.
