Carrying handles too short to backpack it, and why have 2 same size cupholders?

Carrying handles too short to backpack it, and why have 2 same size cupholders?

Chair works exactly as described but trying to say these are carrying handles is bit of a stretch. If you try to carry them by hand the chair unfolds and if you try to backpack it the straps are so short that they cut into the arms of a 5'2 size 0 girl. Also, the cup holders are small, which is okay if you have a small water bottle, but what is the point of having 2 cup holders the same size? As you can see, our water bottle doesn't fit. It would be nice if they added a latch to hang from the straps in the hood so the chair can hold together when closed and then make the carrying straps about 6 inches longer so they can be used as a backpack, or even better, make them adjustable. I can use my sewing skills to fix the carrying handles and the latch, but I don't see how I can fix the cup holders.

We went to the park for an entire day event and this chair rocks! You just take it out of the bad and then pop it open and you are done. Comfortable seat, spot for your drinks and ample coverage for the canopy. You can use with the canopy up or folded behind the chair. Love that it’s light weight and easy to carry. My kiddo is 5’10” about 205 lbs and it was very sturdy and secured. The color is cute too

UPDATE, APRIL 2021:
I've had this chair for about a year-and-a-half now, out on my patio in Florida. In the sun and the rain and the Heat.
I have to admit it's worn in nicely. And even in the intense heat here it's held up pretty well. I use it daily. And it has stretched out some and become quite comfortable.
Unfortunately because of the heat here, I am going to have to replace it soon. But that's the cost of canvas chairs in Florida.
If you use this chair occasionally, for instance. throw it in your trunk to go to a game, it'll last you years. To see the original review just scroll down. Because yes, it was the most uncomfortable chair for the first few months. But I went back and added two more stars to it because it's become my favorite chair. And I still absolutely love the top!
Original review 2019:
This is without a doubt THE most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. And that includes sitting on the ground. Where to start? First of all, I'm 5'7", 130 lbs. This is a key piece of information.
This chair is not made out of canvas. I have no idea what it is made out of. Something that's pressed to look like canvas but has the give of Steel. The seat is coated underneath with actual plastic. And I'm pretty sure that the material itself is some sort of plastic. It's very very crinkly sounding.
The area in the front of the seat, by the knees, is folded over about 4 in for construction purposes. That 4in feels like a steel bar under your legs. And the area between the two poles by your knees are not far enough apart to sit comfortably. Even if you squish your legs together.
The poles up by your shoulders hit me right about in the middle of the my shoulder blade. And I do not have broad shoulders.
The way the chair is designed, the arms are quite far away from where the seat is. You can't comfortably use them for an elbow rest.
There's a warning label advising you not use the cup holders for any hot liquid. Which sort of reinforces my idea that the whole thing is made out of plastic and might melt. I certainly have no reason to believe it will last very long at all in the Florida sun. Even with the umbrella over top. Which by the way is the only cool part of this chair. The fabric of the umbrella seems to be a little softer and have more give, which is weird. Because you would think they would use that for the seats for comfort.
The seat itself has no give whatsoever. It's not even like sitting in a shallow steel bowl. It's more uncomfortable than that. . You have to sit with your knees squished together, your shoulders hunched forward and your hands in your lap.
The amount they say this chair can hold is something I greatly doubt. Because someone anywhere close to 160 to 200 lbs couldn't even fit in this thing.
Also, as if there were not enough reasons to dislike this chair. I'm 5 foot 7 in and if I lean back my feet can't even touch the ground. Who the heck designed this thing? The Spanish Inquisition?
OK... so why two stars? Why not one? Because the top is absolutely genius! It bends, it tilts, it folds back, it truly is brilliant. The mechanism of this top, and the genius of the idea of it, combined with a chair made in a way where you could actually sit in it would go for at least double this price. And be worth it.

Can not beat the price. Chair folded out and back in easily. I would have ordered 9 more (for rest of family), but one of the support poles for the canopy was bent/torn when I originally pulled it out of the bag. I was too excited about having found a reasonably priced canopy chair after looking everywhere in stores, that I thought maybe if I delicately open the chair, everything will be fine. I setup the chair with my only problem being all the glaring envious stares from every soccer dad and mom in viewing range (it was very sunny out). Several of them asked where I bought the chair, and what it cost. I did not want to steer anyone on to a potentially cheaply made product, so I told them it was a gift, but I would find out. The soccer game ended (my son’s team won) and I started to fold the chair. As I did, the bent canopy support pole was now a broken support pole. I looked around, and it seemed as though nobody saw “the incident”, so I just shoved the broken pole into the chair bag. I’d like to believe that I got a steal of a price on this chair, but I just happened to get the one damaged chair they had in inventory and not, ‘you get what you pay for’. With the exception of the right side canopy pole being bent before it arrived at my door, the chair is pretty cool. The canopy adjusts to many heights and angles, to help keep the sun out of your eyes, no matter which way your facing. You also have the option of not putting up the canopy (it is attached to the chair, but a separate process from the seat itself unfolding). If you don’t mind the possible hassle, it is still cheaper to buy 2 or 3 of these chairs with the good chance that at least 1 won’t be broken, then it is to buy a similar chair at a chain store.
