I regret purchasing this Hitachi Split AC. Within days of installation, the unit started making loud abnormal noises during start-up and shut-down. Despite multiple complaints and escalation emails, the issue remained unresolved even after 5 weeks of follow-up.

The installation itself was poorly executed - the indoor unit was misaligned, leaving a visible wall opening exposed to a bathroom area, allowing dust and odor into the room. The technician refused to correct it even after being asked multiple times.

What made the experience worse was the complete lack of accountability between the brand, installation agency, and support teams. I had to repeatedly chase customer care, send photos, invoices, and escalation emails just to get basic responses.

For a premium-priced AC and a reputed brand, this level of product quality and after-sales support is extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise buyers to think twice before purchasing unless they are prepared to deal with stressful support and unresolved issues.
