The Grade 2 program is a hands-on learning experience that is aligned with Common Core State Standards, implementing the Units of Study for Reading, Writing, and Phonics, while incorporating the Daily 5 and Guided Reading. Students learn math through the Everyday Mathematics curriculum. Each day begins with a Morning Meeting to build a strong sense of community and set children up for success socially and academically. Daily, teachers are engaged in whole-group, small-group, and one-on-one instruction to differentiate learning.
