Australians can now convert Amex Membership Rewards points into Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles via Hawaiian Airlines.

Three of Virgin Australia’s former Boeing 777-300ERs are now flying for Qatar Airawys. They still have the original Virgin seats, and frequent flyers can get a free upgrade to Premium Economy.

Qatar Airways Privilege Club has increased the Redemption Fees payable when using Avios to book Virgin Australia reward flights by as much as 700%.

Although you can’t yet redeem points for an Emirates Premium Economy reward ticket or upgrade, flights are available for sale on 31 routes – with more to come soon. You can even book a Qantas codeshare flight to earn more points & status credits.
