The middle child of Jake and Neytiri’s biological children, Lo’ak te Suli Tsyeyk’itan often feels like an outcast compared to his “perfect” older brother, Neteyam. What doesn’t help is that Lo’ak exhibits similar attributes to his father’s avatar, five digits of his hands and feet and eyebrows, that serve as a physical reminder of his differences between the rest of his family and the Omatikaya clan at large. Lo’ak is more impulsive and brash compared to Neteyam which often gets him into trouble. He is closest with his adopted sister, Kiri, and their human friend, Spider.
