Back: Pipe carrying water, symbolizing Eshkol's enterprise, the National Water Carrier, against a background of meadow and barren land. Watermark: Portrait of Levi Eshkol. Security features: Solid, embedded, vertical, 0.5 mm wide security thread. Consecutively running black serial numbers on the reverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Look-through feature: A geometric pattern on the front merges with a pattern on the back to form a Star of David when held against the light. Predominant colour: Blue.
