The world of modelling is changing, and Manchester is where it’s at. The northern fashion houses of Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing and Missguided have taken over the fashion world and are redefining what it means to be a model. Gone are the pretty boys, the super skinny girls and the demands to be over six feet tall. This series follows one of Manchester's leading agencies, Nemesis, on the search to find a new generation of models.

Jordaine, a self-described 'short, big-bummed black girl' impresses the Nemesis talent team in her first meeting. But what happens when 18-year-old Kyra arrives at Nemesis assessment day? She’s shy, a size 18, and she’s got a skin condition - not exactly modelling material. But in the new world of fashion, Kyra is hot property, and Nemesis know it.
