Harrogate and Hastings will both be in the hat for the FA Cup third round for the first time after Jamie Crellin's second-half goal earned a replay.

Harrogate had been on course to reach the third round outright with Tom Platt's first-half header putting them in front.

Platt bundled home Shane Killock's cross from close range for 1-0.

But Hastings - the lowest-ranked team left in the competition - levelled through Crellin from inside the area.

The visitors should have won it late on but Zac Attwood shot straight at Craig MacGillivray when he had the whole goal to aim at.

Harrogate Town manager, Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York:

"You think it's a knock out competition so you're looking either to be high as a kite or sink down there.

"I challenge any Premier League team to play good football on our pitch the way it was today. It was an absolute mud bath.

"I'm looking forward to the opportunity of playing on a platform at Hastings which is a fantastic pitch."

"I'm filled with emotion, it's the best feeling of my life.

"I thought it was thoroughly deserved. The boys got their rewards for a tremendous effort.

"The atmosphere our fans have created is absolutely magnificent, you would have thought we were the home side.

"I don't envy them having to come to our ground and get a result now."
