Burton Albion 0-3 Peterborough United (original) (raw)
Conor Washington scored twice as Peterborough beat League One rivals Burton in the FA Cup first round.
The visitors scored before the break when Washington fired in from six yards, before the striker capitalised on a defensive error to add a second.
Jermaine Anderson added a third with a close-range finish late on, before Jack Baldwin was sent off for Peterborough in stoppage time for a bad challenge.
Phil Edwards had Burton's best chance with a header.
Burton Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told BBC Radio Derby:

Hasselbaink on Burton v Peterborough
"I'm very disappointed. I must say we were second best in all areas. We started OK in the first half - we started brightly with good play, but we couldn't sustain that.
"We had to shuffle the team with new people playing in different positions.
"I was not happy at all. I think the highlight was our full-backs. They did the job I asked them to do, but the rest as a collective were not good enough."
