League leaders Burton Albion salvaged a draw against Doncaster Rovers in Nigel Clough's first game back as manager.

Andy Williams and Calum Butcher opened the scoring to leave it 1-1 at the break, before Williams missed a penalty after a foul on Nathan Tyson.

Butcher then slid a second past Thorsten Stuckmann but Paul Keegan's curling free-kick made it 2-2.

Tyson buried a second penalty after a foul on Andy Butler before Mark Duffy's late, swinging goal secured a draw.

Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Derby:

"After six months of relative calm, I come back to that - it was a thrilling game all the way through.

"Both teams tried to play the right way, there were chances at both ends, penalties and penalty saves.

"When you are 3-2 down late on, it is good to get a point but I thought we had enough chances to win it today."
