Rory Loy scored twice as Falkirk beat Queen of the South to move up to third in the Scottish Championship.

Loy made no mistake from the penalty spot after Ian McShane had handled Jay Fulton's free-kick.

Queens came into the game at the start of the second half and equalised through Iain Russell, who volleyed home Derek Lyle's pass.

The game looked to be heading for a draw before Loy's low shot sealed a home win.
