Daniel Parslow: Cheltenham sign defender (original) (raw)
Cheltenham Town have signed defender Daniel Parslow on a one-year contract.
Former Wales Under-21 international Parslow left York after nine years in the summer having made 316 appearances.
The club opted not to renew his contract after he spent much of the 2014-15 season on loan at Grimsby and he becomes the 13th new signing at National League side Cheltenham.
"It's nice that it's finally sorted," 29-year-old Parslow told BBC Gloucestershire.
"There's a sprinkling of experience which can help these young lads who have no fear.
"It's a fresh start, I'll get to see a lot more of my parents over the bridge in Cardiff.
"But it's all about playing football and I've got my head around the location as I'm just so desperate to play football and play for this club."
