Norwich City thumped struggling League One side Coventry at Carrow Road to reach round three of the EFL Cup.

Norwich's Kyle Lafferty fired in before Sergi Canos' curling shot made it 2-0.

Ruben Lameiras pulled one back with a penalty after the break, but Russell Martin poked in and Jacob Murphy extended the lead from 18 yards.

Spanish teenager Canos rolled in his second, before debutant Ben Godfrey completed the rout late on to leave Coventry without a win this season.
