Ashley Hunter: Fleetwood Town forward signs new three-year deal (original) (raw)
Ashley Hunter has signed a new three-year deal with League One side Fleetwood which will run until 2019.
The 20-year-old forward joined the Cod Army from non-league Ilkeston in January 2015 for a "sizeable fee".
Hunter has scored twice so far this season and was on target in Wednesday's 2-0 victory over Oxford United.
"I'm looking forward to next three years and hope I can progress well and kick on with the club," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I'm really happy under the new manager (Uwe Rosler). He's had a positive impact and really helped with my confidence.
"It is a long commitment but I hope in the next three years we can carry on going forward, so it wasn't a hard decision."
