Residente, Bad Bunny – “Bellacoso”
Residente is back to his melodic roots and witty lyrics in “Bellacoso” featuring Bad Bunny, a highly-awaited collaboration that he promised to drop if Puerto Rican governor Ricardo Rosselló resigned. Indeed, after 12 days of protest in the island, where both Residente and Bunny took part, Rosselló officially announced his resignation on Wednesday (July 24). On Friday, Residente and Bunny dropped the official music video filmed in their native isla del encanto by director Gregory Ohrel. Fusing dembow, hip-hop, and infectious Caribbean vibes, “Bellacoso” is an inventive slang term that embodies and celebrates the beauty of diversity. Manuel Turizo – “Nada Ha Cambiado”
Manuel Turizo is tired of trying to convince his ex-girlfriend that he’s the one and that he’s still madly in love with her. With his new single, “Nada Ha Cambiado,” part of his upcoming debut album, Turizo gets real about a broken heart, singing that his feelings have not changed even if his girl’s not with him anymore. The reggae-meets-pop track comes accompanied with a sweet music video filmed in Guatemala, showing Turizo recalling his good times with his lady. — J.R.

Calibre 50 – “Solo Tu”
Teasing fans with a new album on the way, Calibre 50 present “Solo Tu,” the third single off of their upcoming production. The down-tempo Regional Mexican song spotlights a love that’s so pure with lyrics such as “only you make me feel what love really is” and “you are my everything, without exaggerating, since the day I first saw you.” The music video, which sends out the message that love is love, features married couples, parents with their children, young couples, and same-sex couples dancing to their romantic ballad as they perform “Solo Tu.” — J.R.
Francisca Valenzuela – “Héroe”
Chilean singer/songwriter Francisca Valenzuela shows both mettle and the ability to incorporate reggaeton tastefully in the anthemic “Héroe.” This danceable ode to self-reliance (“The time has come and I’ll be my hero, hero, hero”) will have you singing along (or working a sweat) in no time. — LEILA COBO
MoMo – “Tumba”
The wave of female singers continues to grow, and Cuban singer MoMo has joined the ride with “Tumba.” Monique González (better known as MoMo) is the definition of a talented Latina. She joined forces with producers Victor Viera (Jumbo) and Juan G. Rivera (Gaby Music) to record the summery song, which showcases her soft but powerful voice alongside Jamaican singer Konshens. The track might take you back to Jennifer Lopez‘s early career days not only musically, but also visually — in the video, MoMo shows that she can dance and act. Rafa Pabon – “Quisiera”
Make way for Rafa Pabon, who’s here to give you a taste of la nueva escuela in the Latin urban scene with his infectious “Quisiera.” Flaunting his talent as a singer-songwriter and musician, Pabon presents his latest single recorded with a live band and romantic lyrics. The track fuses sultry dembow beats with smooth R&B vocals and hints of reggaeton. The music video was filmed in Puerto Rico by Joshua Burgos and features his real-life wife and Puerto Rican model Mimi Pabon as the model. The clip’s opening scene is an ode to one his musical influences, showing a child actor waking up to Calle 13’s “Atrevete” and picking up a photo of a real photo of Pabon when he was a kid with Residente. — J.R.
