“I always say what I’m feeling/I was born without a zip on my mouth,” Jesy and Leigh-Anne begin. “My momma always said, ‘Girl, you’re trouble’ and/And now I wonder, could you fall for a woman like me?” Jade and Perrie then ask. The chorus answers this question with a resounding yes.

In the accompanying lyric video, vintage girl-centered illustrations flash by, followed by dated footage of a pageant show. The second verse is similar in theme, depicting what “perfect” girls look like in the form of a 1950s housewife and old-time movie star.
