On it, she sings: “Now you see me standin’ in the lights/ But you never saw my sacrifice/ Or all the nights I had to struggle to survive
/Had to lose it all to win the fight/ I had to fall so many times/ Oh, now I’m the last one standin’.”

“Last One Standing” also features Eminem, who cut the title track for the first in the Venom franchise, as well as Mozzy and Polo G.

“The way this song came together was kind of the perfect storm,” she comments. Venom is one of my favorite superheroes because he’s an antihero and I relate to that. Also Tom Hardy is one of my favorite actors. So I’m honored to be a part of this.”

The new track isn’t Skylar’s first foray into comic book spinoffs. Her single “Everything I Need” soundtracked the credits of Aquaman along with writing two songs for 2016’s Suicide Squad, both from the D.C. universe.

The epic new song follows “Partly Cloudy With A Chance Of Tears,” the first single from Grey’s forthcoming album.
