Advancing women | Bloomberg LP (original) (raw)

Our commitment to gender equality isn’t just about fairness. It’s also about strength.

By fully valuing the knowledge, experience, insight and ideas that women bring to the table, we’re not just building a more equal business. We’re building a more successful one.

At Bloomberg, data informs all our decisions

And the numbers show there’s more work to be done to increase gender equality in the workplace – and beyond. So we’re doing it: following the data to size up the challenge, improve our strategies to recruit, retain and advance female talent, and measure our progress. And through Bloomberg Philanthropies, we’re working to invest in women around the world. So we can go further, faster, together.

Beyond the workplace

Through Bloomberg Philanthropies’ global programs, we’re working to advance the health and economic well-being of women around the globe.

Women’s Economic Development

Committed to the core belief that women are central to economic growth, the Women’s Economic Development program partners with governments, nonprofits, and the private sector to create opportunities for women that lead to economic independence.

Since 2007, more than 745,000 women have enrolled in training and education programs across Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Women’s Economic Development Initiative, directly benefiting 2.98 million of their children and family members.
