Subtle and haunting, �45 Years� is often an extraordinary dissection of a marital union that�s carried on for decades, where routine has replaced intimacy. It�s not an angry offering from writer/director Andrew Haigh (�Weekend�), remaining insightful while exposing rising discord in a once seemingly happy home. Stars Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay are exquisite in their respective roles, capturing behavior authenticity with care, making the characters feel lived-in.
