He turned a car tire into a serial killer in 2010�s �Rubber,� tinkered with the absurdities of police procedurals in 2013�s �Wrong Cops,� and blended a study of the human condition with a �Mighty Morphin Power Rangers� parody in 2022�s �Smoking Causes Coughing.� Writer/director Quentin Dupieux has always embraced his impish sense of humor, and he�s mostly successful with his wonderful weirdness, crafting dry, hilarious, and mercifully short pictures.
