This propaganda film, a product of the first Red Scare, is based on the short story A PRODIGAL IN UTOPIA. It tells the tale of an idealistic American student who is drawn in with a group of Bolshevik rabble rousers. His intentions good, he hopes to help the striking and unhappy workers and he believes his is the cause of freedom but when an agitator arrives from Russian the group creeps closer and closer to chaos, murder and terrorism!
