Her etiquette-school lease bought out and she and her accompanist literally thrown out by mafioso, Miss Poole goes straight to the don's office to seek redress. Shunted off with an offer of a live-in nanny position, she accepts with a plan to kidnap his son when he's away for a ransom that will pay her accompanist's hospital bills and help them restart their careers. They're quickly in over their heads, however, when the henchmen prove too scared to notify the boss and too inept to raise the ransom themselves.
