It�s difficult to comprehend that the pain contained within �I Am Not Your Negro� is as relevant today as it was during the 1960s and �70s, which are the primaries decades of inspection for the documentary. It�s a cinematic rendering of author James Baldwin�s unfinished manuscript, �Remember This House,� with Baldwin recounting his experiences as a black man in America, putting his confusion into context as bigotry began to boil over during the Civil Right era, shaking the country.
