An adaptation of Rumaan Alam�s 2020 novel, �Leave the World Behind� explores an apocalyptic event from the perspective of characters who almost want nothing to do with it, caught up in their own dramas as society crumbles around them. While it seems like a disaster movie, the material is more psychological in nature, following the torment of six people stuck in an enigmatic situation involving a global crisis.
