Arriving at twenty-one, along with ensemble pieces she enjoyed a number of lead roles including the 1937 film California Straight Ahead! opposite John Wayne. In 1936, at twenty-three, she married Erwin S. Gelsey, story writer for such films as Flying Down To Rio, Swing Time and Cover Girl, and the founder and president of the Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Within a year she would give up her shot at stardom to raise a family, ultimately having five children. She continued to work in fashion, including designing and writing editorials, and during World War II she was active with the American Red Cross and Catholic Charities. At the time of her death at age sixty, in Mallorca, Spain, her residence was in Connecticut, where her remains are interred.0fans 4Theatricalcollections 0Blu-raycollections 77DVDcollections | | Average movie rating Based on 4 movies and 3 ratingsHighest rated: 7.2 / 10 Don't Turn 'E...
