The richest girl in the world is about to be sold out by star reporter Steve Layton (Tyrone Power), but he gets duped when she sells a different scoop. Tony Gateson (Loretta Young), a beautiful young heiress, is constantly being hounded by the press...and one reporter in particular - Layton - is about to see what it feels like! When Gateson announces the two are engaged, she sends Layton's life into a front-page tailspin that can only be remedied by love.
