Mr. And Mrs. North (1942) (original) (raw)

Mr. and Mrs. North meet at Grand Central Station after a day away and the scatterbrained wife confounds her husband with unexpected detours before returning home. Perplexed to find the window open and a fancy gold makeup case on the floor, it dawns on the couple that one of their friends may have used the place in their absence for a tryst. By the time they find a dead body in their liquor closet, they're hiding evidence to cover for their friends' infidelities as they try to outwit the police and solve the murder themselves.
