Director Joe Wright dented an otherwise inspiring filmmaking career with 2012�s �Anna Karenina,� a visually stunning but DOA adaption of Leo Tolstoy�s celebrated novel. Remaining in a literary mood, Wright (along with screenwriter Jason Fuchs) goes after J.M. Barrie�s world of fairies, lost boys, and pirates with �Pan,� which acts as prequel to �Peter Pan,� providing an origin story because there�s really nothing left to say about Neverland.
