Harvey (Jerry Lewis) is a shy but talented pro golfer who, because he can't face the crowds, coaxes his buddy Joe (Dean Martin) into a big time tournament. As Joe's caddy, Harvey is a disaster, and the two have a hilarious quarrel on the fairway which results in their being banned from golf.
