The Last Flight (1931) (original) (raw)
Director William Dieterle's first American film is a study of expatriates living in France following WWI. After Armistice Day, four veterans with shattered nervous systems migrate to Paris where they encounter a childlike young woman who is also ill-equipped to live a conventional life. Drifting from party to party, the five friends eventually are torn apart by tragedy, death, and love.
