The Warrior's Husband (1933) (original) (raw)

It's 800 B.C., and in the land of Pontus, men are the weaker sex who stay at home and raise the children. Queen Hippolyta (Marjorie Rambeau) rules the land with an iron fist thanks to the sacred girdle of the goddess Diana, which is guarded by the queen and her sister Antiope (Elissa Landi). Enter the mighty manly men Hercules (Tiny Sandford) and Theseus (David Manners), who don't conform to the rigid gender stereotypes prevailing in Pontus.
