**FLAGSHIP PROJECT

At Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, teams from Thanomwongse Service (TWS), a subsidiary of the Tipco Asphalt group, and their local partners are building a third runway and two taxiways to make the site a new transport hub for the whole of South-East Asia.

It is a major project that must harness advanced techniques to lay the correct groundwork and produce 800,000 tonnes of asphalt mix.

Over 1,000 employees have been involved in the project, which should allow 60 million passengers to pass through the airport each year.
