The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, held on September 15, 2024, in Los Angeles, celebrated the accomplishments of writers, actors, and directors across television. Regardless of whether you gravitate towards reality TV or a high-intensity drama series, there's something to celebrate when all of Hollywood's biggest stars step out to honor and acknowledge the past year of work on the screen. And while we enjoyed recognizing all of their shows, we also loved the people-watching opportunities the award show afforded us: We got to watch all of Hollywood's sweetest (and most famous!) couples step out hand-in-hand on TV's biggest night out.

Here, we've rounded up our favorite couple moments from this year's awards ceremony. From Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre Elba sharing a laugh on the red carpet to Naomi Watts resting her head on Billy Crudup's shoulder, we're sure you'll fall in love with these photos from the 2024 Emmy Awards just as much as we have.

Paul Rudd and Julie Yaeger

Paul Rudd, who was nominated for two Emmys (one for his performance as Ben Glenroy in Hulu's Only Murders In The Building), appeared on the red carpet with his wife, Julie Yaeger. The couple tied the knot in 2003 and have two children together. Yaeger and Rudd stepped out in all-black outfits; the screenwriter and producer wore a V-cut paired with simple silver jewelry, while the actor donned a classic tuxedo.

Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts

Four years after saying "I do," Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts are still going strong. On the red carpet, the duo, who wed in August 2020, showcased their coordinated red-hued looks. Nash-Betts opted for a floor-length off-the-shoulder gown, while Betts wore a maroon suit accessorized with tinted glasses.

Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey

The Sympathizer actor posed for photographers alongside his wife, Susan Downey at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. Downey, who received his 2024 nomination 20 years after his first one, held the hand of his wife, who radiated in a strapless pink sequined dress, as they posed on the red carpet.

Viola Davis and Julius Tennon

The EGOT-winning actress arrived on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards with her husband of 21 years, Julius Tennon. Davis, who met Tennon on the set of City of Angels in 1999, shared a heartfelt Instagram post about their relationship in celebration of their 20th anniversary last year. "Through the fire and brimstone of life we have held on...together.....to each other....understanding no matter what, the promise is to not let go," she wrote. "To the end my love.....Happy 20th Anniversary!!! ❤️❤❤."

Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison

Before taking home the Primetime Emmy Award for her role as Detective Elizabeth Danvers in HBO's True Detective: Night Country, Jodie Foster appeared on the red carpet alongside her wife, photographer Alexandra Hedison. Foster donned a high-neck navy dress, while Hedison opted for a one-shoulder gown with striped sequins.

Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney

The three-time Emmy Award winner posed on the red carpet alongside his wife, Molly McNearney. The couple, who initially met while working together on Kimmel's show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, began dating in 2009 before tying the knot in 2013. On Sunday evening, the couple kept it simple with coordinated black-and-white looks.

Idris Elba and Sabrina Elba

Sabrina Elba attended the Emmy Awards last night in support of her husband, Idris Elba, who received his sixth nomination for his performance as a lead actor in the Apple TV+ series Hijack. The duo, who initially met at a jazz bar in Vancouver, Canada in 2017, said "I do" during a three-day Moroccan wedding in 2019.

Ann Osceola dazzled in a plunging V-neck sequined dress at the 2024 Emmy Awards while supporting her husband, Jon Hamm, who received a nomination for his role as Paul Marks in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show. Osceola is no stranger to the spotlight herself: She and Hamm met while on the set of Mad Men in 2020.

This famous couple had much to celebrate at this year's award show, as Crudup won the Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for his performance as Cory Ellison in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show. Watts received her own nomination for her work as Babe Paley in FX's Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.

They welcomed their second child into the world earlier this year, but Michael Angarano and Maya Erskine had another reason to celebrate last night: Erskine received her fourth Emmy nomination for her work as Jane Smith in Amazon Prime Video's Mr. & Mrs. Smith. She posed with Angarano on the red carpet while wearing a neutral gown by Rodarte dotted with white flowers.

Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden

Saoirse Ronan joined new husband Jack Lowden on the red carpet in support of his (first!) nomination for his performance as River Cartwright in Apple TV+'s Slow Horses. The newlyweds tied the knot earlier this year in an intimate ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In addition to clinching a nomination for producing Amazon Prime Video's made-for-television movie Red, White & Royal Blue, Greg Berlanti was honored for his continued work in the industry with the Governors Award. His husband, former professional soccer player Robbie Rogers, joined him on the red carper to celebrate the occasion.

Liza Colón-Zayas and David Zayas

Liza Colón-Zayas, the star of Hulu's The Bear, won her first Emmy Award for her work as Tina on Sunday evening. Wearing a bright green, off-the-shoulder sequined dress, Colón-Zayas arrived on the red carpet holding hands with husband David Zayas. There was another huge milestone the duo had to celebrate: The Puerto Rican actress was the first Latina to win the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

The Modern Family actor, who also has five Emmy nominations to his name, shared a laugh while holding hands with husband Justin Mikita on the red carpet. The couple, who married in 2013, both opted for floral-inspired dress shirts underneath their colored suit jackets.

The cast of The Bear had much to be excited about last night. In addition to Colón-Zayas winning an Emmy, her costar, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich in the show. Wearing a sheer white dress with a square neckline, his wife Yelena Yemchuk, appeared alongside him on the red carpet.

Jazmyn Simon and Dulé Hill

Appearing in coordinated black looks reminiscent of old Hollywood styles, Jazmyn Simon and Dulé Hill made the Emmys their date night alongside Hill's other castmates from The West Wing. Hill, who appeared as Charlie Young in the political drama, said "I do" to fellow actor Simon in April 2018.
