Bermejo Pass, mountain pass at 12,917 feet (3,937 metres) in the southern Andes Mountains, between Argentina and Chile, directly south of Mount Aconcagua. It is the site of the Cristo Redentor (Christ of the Andes) statue, dedicated in 1904 and erected to commemorate a series of peace and boundary settlements between Argentina and Chile.
