About the CAMC Clinical Trials Center

Clinical trial research is vital to the advancement of medical treatment and elimination of illnesses throughout the world. The Clinical Trials Center is dedicated to full-time research and has conducted clinical research trials for more than 20 years.

We are interested in conducting research that will benefit the people of West Virginia. The application of what we learn from research is vital to the improvement of the health, quality of service, and patient care throughout West Virginia. CAMC is dedicated to providing the latest in new therapies and applications. As professionals in a growing research testing center, we make our facilities and resources available for clinical research studies.

Through research, education, intervention, and health promotion, we can change lives and improve the health of the people we serve. Services performed by the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine Clinical Trials Center are multifaceted, improving health care opportunities for CAMC professionals and patients. Our trained staff conducts industry sponsored clinical trial research in both device and drug (Phases II –IV) in a wide-range of therapeutic areas. This provides area residents local access to services associated with these products, without the need to travel outside West Virginia.
