The Catholic Diocese of Eldoret which is currently headed by Rt. Rev. Dominic Kimengich, traces its early beginnings to the Vicariate of the Upper Nile.
Pope Francis appointed Rt. Rev. Dominic Kimengich Bishop of Eldoret Diocese on Saturday, 16th, November, 2019 at noon. He was installed Bishop of Eldoret on 1st, February 2020
Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral is the Church of the Diocese, in which the Bishop has his throne seat, Cathedra. In the cathedral, the Bishop presides, teaches and conducts worship for the whole Christian community.

Vicar for Religious
The Office of Vicar for Religious serves as the Bishop’s representative to the religious communities serving in the Diocese of Eldoret.
Pastoral
The Pastoral Office is the Office that coordinates the Pastoral work of the Diocese in the name of the Bishop. Pastoral work is all that involves shepherding the people of God.
Vocations
The Vocations Office provides assistance to men who are in the priestly formation program and works to foster priestly vocations in the Diocese.
Communications
To proclaim the teachings of Christ and to share His example with others is the mission and goal of the Secretariat for Communications.
Youth
The main focus of the department is to reach out to all the youth in the planned activities, both in parishes, high schools and colleges/ universities.
Integral Human Development
This is the Development and Humanitarian arm of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB). ...supports evangelization through Social Economic Development and Humanitarian interventions to all.
Finance
The purpose of the Finance Office is to ensure the efficient administration of the material goods of the Church.

St. John Project
This is a mega project of the Diocese where a multi- storey building is to be constructed
St. John The Baptist Pastoral Centre
St. John the Baptist Pastoral Centre is a Catholic institution under the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
Pacem Interris
A place where they can do workshops, seminars, and trainings on different areas irrespective of their backgrounds.
Workshop Rental
In order to get value for money, the Diocese rented out her workshop
