European Silver League - Women is a competition for national teams of CEV member federations, which takes place every year. All European national teams, other than those participating in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League or the European Golden League during the same season, are eligible to participate. The winner of the second-tier European Silver League earns promotion to the first-tier European Golden League for the following season. The European Silver League was launched in 2018. Sweden were the first gold medallists of the European Silver League in 2018. Romania won the second edition in 2019, followed by Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2021 (the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic).
