Kentucky's NASCAR race has some pretty unique trophies (original) (raw)
Trophies around NASCAR can get pretty interesting. In Texas, it’s boots and guns. Martinsville hands out a grandfather clock. But, at Kentucky Speedway, drivers head back home with some tunes in tow.
Since 2015, whenever a driver wins at Kentucky Speedway, they receive a Crosley jukebox. Crosley, which is based in Louisville, partnered with Kentucky Speedway in 2015 and the jukeboxes, about five-feet tall, have been the drivers’ pursuit ever since.
Crosley Brands CEO Bo LeMastus, driver of the No. 54 Crosley Brands Toyota, will be presenting the trophies all week to winners and joked Thursday that while a win for him “ain’t happening”, his jukeboxes are available at your local Target.
