Rats! Rodent infestation meeting coming up in Allston (original) (raw)

The Parents and Community Build Group Inc. and the Ringer Park Partnership Group are hosting a rodent infestation community meeting with John Meaney of the Inspectional Service Department on Wednesday, May 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Jackson Mann Community Center Theater, 500 Cambridge St., Allston.

The meeting will address questions and concerns regarding the rodent infestation problem in Allston and Brighton. Address sheets will be provided for residents to submit rat sighting/infested locations. In order for a mass rodent extermination map to be formulated, rodent sighting addresses are needed.

It is very important for residents who are experiencing rodent problems to attend this meeting and provide the exact location of the sightings. Rodents reproduce rapidly, and in multiple numbers. It is important to exterminate a large section at a time in order to eliminate the problem completely.
