Andi Osho is a British stand-up comedian, actor, and television presenter born in Plaistow, east London, to Nigerian parents.
Osho's career began behind the camera, in television production, but she turned her hand to live performance and acting in 2003 , settling on comedy in 2006 . During the early part of her career, she would work as a receptionist by day and go onstage in the evenings.
After a number of theatrical and television roles in shows such as Casualty, Doctors, and Sea Of Souls, she won the 2007 Nivea Funny Women award.
Osho has written for print, radio, film and TV for broadcasters such as Fox, BBC, and Sky. She wrote and starred in Twin Thing on Sky Arts] with Sharon Horgan 's production company Merman Films, a comedy short about a ghost tour, and also created her own [c]E4 sketch pilot show The Andi Osho Show .

In cinema, Osho has appeared in two David F. Sanberg films, Lights Out and Shazam! , as the same character: a social worker named Emma Glover.
As well as these roles in live comedy and television drama, Osho is also an accomplished playwright, and one of the founding members of the London writers' group, Vowel Movement. In 2008 she also co-wrote a scratch performance of the stage-play Up the Café de Paris at the Pulse Fringe Festival.
