Prospect of a meaningful Fringe is still within reach

I'm never been brave, or stupid, enough to try it, but I've always wondered what it would be like trying to walk up an escalator going the wrong way. Trying to work out what shape the Edinburgh Festival is going to take this summer must be a similar feeling.
