Josh Cummings is a stand up comedian and writer from Derbyshire. He has been gigging in some of the local pubs and clubs since 2014 around the East Midlands area.
So far his writing career has been sketch and topical jokes on the BBC Radio 4 extra programme Newsjack. His first credit on the show was in 2013 and he has since had a handful of broadcast sketches and one liners. His most recent one was on the 2020 Autumn series where one of his sketches was broadcast on episode 1.
In 2020, he was chosen as a finalist in the BCG Pro Writing Talent Awards in which he showcased his 'incredible ability' to write a sketch about a Greengrocer
